Years,Years,Nothing
Someway ivy clings to Old Science
the granite sky flowing overhead
they profoundly stalk the ground
this world, myworld, herworld
is spinning
someday, green trees will have aged leaves
and give you days and nights like these.
Time, in it’s honesty
hushes the lips of quiet academia worries.
she weeps, lips trembling.
ivy still clings as she believes in her dreams
but Old Science, it aches to crumble
This is what shall humble her Giant.
Her Fear of pillars falling
Some small deceit in truth bumbling
5 minutes, 5 minutes, all it took
The rest of her life displayed
and played aloof
Years, Years, Nothing
That is all that shall be left
5 foot cavernous region
inside her small chest
5 foot 3 seemingly inches
fear
fear - broken
fear - still lives.
but no break is given
when these words are seen, let them run…
she had
has, holds, wants.
But there is timelessness in her beauty
but foolishness in her studies
Slow, slow, the breathing panic
tears fill her eyes
This is what will tumble her Giant.
For outsiders
This will shake our hearts, minds, souls
For her
pity, grief, sorrow, hope, love, shoulders…
to cry on
